MBS5 is (almost) here!

I know I haven’t been updating this blog as much as I would want to. Well, aside from school stuff and some work, this has been keeping me crazy busy lately:

Yes, Iligan Bloggers Society, together with Iligan City Tourism Office, Iligan Computer Institute, and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation of Iligan, Inc.,  is hosting this year’s biggest convergence of bloggers (and blogging enthusiasts) in Mindanao.  Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2011 banners the theme, “One Green Mindanao:  Mobilizing Bloggers to Promote Sustainable Lifestyle” to discuss issues on environment and to help formulate a better Mindanao through the promotion and the adaptation of a sustainable lifestyle.

The summit is co-presented by Globe Telecom, one of the largest telecommunication companies in the Philippines. When their sponsorship was finalized, I was beyond happy.  And when I learned that Globe has been generous enough to help Iligan Bloggers Society realize this event and extend their generosity to the participants as well by offering to shoulder the registration fees, I got all the more excited.  I just have to say that again:

GLOBE HAS OFFERED TO COVER THE REGISTRATION FEES FOR MBS5 REGISTRANTS!!!

Yes, yes, yes!  So if you’re joining to become a participant, register now! Or for those who are interested to sponsor, contact Iligan Bloggers Society and don’t miss out on this chance.
