This is my third time to attend Blogafest, the Philippines’ first and largest gathering of bloggers and content creators. Formerly known as the Blogapalooza, Blogafest is an annual business-to-influencer networking and marketing event that gathers bloggers, social media content creators, and online personalities from all over the country for a day of fun, learning, interaction, and collaboration. It’s my third Blogafest experience, yet I’m still as excited as ever. In this post, in honor of my 3 years attending this gathering, I share my top 3 reasons why I continue to attend (and why you — as a blogger and/or content creator — should watch out for next year’s event!).

Why Every Content Creator Should Attend Blogafest?
There are a lot of reasons for bloggers and social media content creators to attend networking events such as Blogafest. Here are my top 3 reasons:
1. To learn from the experts
Change is the only constant thing in the world, more clearly so in the digital landscape. For content creators to stay relevant, we need to keep up with the speed of this change. Every so often, there’s a new tool to learn, a new medium to master, and a new way to do things we normally do. That’s one of the main reasons we need to take time to attend events like these every now and then.
This year’s Blogafest circled around “celebrating content creation, conversations, and communities.” The Blogapalooza Team gathered online personalities to share some tips and practical advice for the influencers to #ElevateInfluence.

2. To be part of the grand reunion of blogger friends.
The blogosphere is continually growing, and it’s great to get in touch with some friends I have met on this journey. Events such as Blogafest is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones from all over the country. It’s always fun to be a part of a community helping each other and growing together. I’ll be forever grateful to be part of the #Blogafam.
3. Because it’s fun!
What I admire most about the organizers of Blogafest is they make sure that everyone has lots of FUN. There were performances in between learning sessions and booths we can visit and play games in. Attendees really did experience carnival fun at Blogafest with mime artists, aerial performances, inflatables, and more! And oh, there was even an afterparty!
As in the first time I joined in 2016, I learned a lot and truly enjoyed meeting fellow bloggers from all over the Philippines. It inspired me to work harder to continue to #ElevateInfluence in the years ahead. 🙂
